You know how, when you’re watching ‘Tomb Raider,’ you think that surviving in a deserted forest in the middle of nowhere is easy? Well, the geniuses at ‘Creepy Jar,’ decided, “let’s educate these mindless fools,” and brought you ‘Green Hell.’

About ‘Green Hell’

Thrown into an ‘Amazon’-like jungle with no food or water, ‘Green Hell’ brings you as close as possible to ‘Bear Grylls.’ Scurry through the forest in search of food, water, and shelter, and battle not only the wild, but yourself. The lack of Wi-fi drives some people nearly insane in the modern world, but the lack of even basic necessities? One shadows to imagine the trials a man will face in the wild, as far away from civilization as possible.

Man this is a tough game that will only get better with development over time. The jungle is merciless! Awesome graphics.

The Complexity is Beyond Complex

Left with only a radio in the middle of the jungle, and no means of escape, ‘Green Hell’ is a psychological, survival game that emphasizes the dangers of the wild. Bit by bit, you’ll slowly begin to answer the only question that lingers in your mind the moment you got here. How did you end up here in the first place? ‘Green Hell’ emphasizes the…

  • Use of true survival techniques (including starting fires, camp building, animal traps construction)
  • Sourcing and composing objects allowing survival (including weapons and tools)
  • Food sourcing (hunting, cropping)
  • Wound, disease and other injuries treatment, depending on the situation.

From the dense vegetation to the myriad of animals that stalks the wild, to the ever-changing weather that causes even more trouble, the environment of ‘Green Hell’ is designed to be as realistic as possible. In-game animals follow regular behavioral patterns mimicked from actual animals, the weather changes dynamically, and a plethora of animals will keep you glued to your seats. And to top it all off, a variety of parasites would love to latch on to you. Better check yourself.

  1. Green Hell looks cool, I’ve always wondered how well I’d survive in the wilds. I don’t think it would be long but now I can test it out without the risk of death! The game looks beautiful and it’s interesting to see a game using realistic survival techniques.
